Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation together constitute the sacraments of Christian initiation. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that “Preparation for Confirmation should aim at leading the Christian toward more intimate union with Christ and a more lively familiarity with the Holy Spirit- his actions, his gifts, and his bidding – in order to be more capable of assuming the apostolic responsibilities of Christian life.”
If you are 18 years or older, out of High School, and have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, now is the time to consider completing your sacraments of initiation. Adult Confirmation is for those who have already been baptized and have received their First Communion. Our classes begin every January and are held on Tuesday evenings. A meeting is required before classes begin, but we are now accepting registrations.
We have good news! We divided Confirmation into two sections. They are Foundational Teachings and Core Teachings. We have expanded to three Foundational offerings beginning in September (lasting five weeks). With everyone’s busy schedule, we’re hoping this enhancement will make it easier for you to attend.
