Jacqueline Cruz is honored to serve as the Director of Development for St. Thomas More Catholic Community.

For more than 10 years, Jacqueline has contributed to raising millions to support families facing childhood illness or injury at Ronald McDonald House Las Vegas. She led the organization’s comprehensive development strategy, focusing on grants, community engagement, and a three-year capital campaign, and helped build and mentor a high-performing fundraising team. Prior to this, Jacqueline worked in the California State Legislature, supporting elected officials in their district and legislative operations to ensure constituents’ concerns and needs were represented, particularly in the areas of children, health, and education.

Jacqueline holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) – one of only 26 individuals in the State of Nevada with this credential – reflecting her commitment to excellence and continual learning in the fundraising profession. She also serves on the Association of Fundraising Professionals Las Vegas Chapter Board of Directors.

Jacqueline and her husband, Christopher, have three young children, who have been their greatest blessings. Whether exploring local eateries or camping in the backyard, her family is what grounds and inspires her each day, fueling her commitment to serve and to grow in the fullness of His love.

Jacqueline's strong belief and connection to God drew her to this role. As she has shared, "Serving as a fund development leader in the Catholic community is my dream job."
