My name is Fr. AJ Sales. I'm one of the newest priests here in the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. I was ordained on May 25, 2024.

I moved here to Las Vegas when I was 4 years old from Queens, New York, and it's been my home ever since! I spent my first two years of seminary at Mt. Angel in Oregon and my 5 years of Theology at Mundelein Seminary in the Archdiocese of Chicago. I first considered becoming a priest while attending college at UNLV and visiting the Newman Center. As much as I tried to ignore the call, it felt inescapable, and I wanted to just go to seminary to "get it out of my system!" Here we are 9 years later!

I love cooking, working out, playing video games, singing, and playing the guitar. My favorite sacrament to celebrate as a priest has been the sacrament of confession.

I'm really excited to be with you all at St. Thomas More. Please keep me in prayer, and know that I am praying for you all too!
