What Is It?
Youth Day is an annual gathering that opens the Lost Angeles Religious Education Congress. Young people from across the United States attend with their chaperones to build community, form meaningful connections, find inspiration, and--most importantly--deepen their relationship with Jesus.
Dates:
April 21 - 22, 2027. The current plan is for the group to depart from STM early Wednesday morning and travel to Knott’s Berry Farm, where they will spend the day. That evening, they will stay overnight at a hotel before traveling to Anaheim on Thursday to attend the Youth Day Convention, which runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Following the conclusion of the event, the group will begin their return trip to STM.
Location:
Anaheim, California
Cost:
T.B.A.
Fundraising:
There will be several opportunities throughout the year for students to earn funds and reduce the overall cost of their trip. Fundraising opportunities may include assisting with Ice Cream Socials, the Parish Festival, the Ceramic Social, Trunk or Treat, GLOWS, and other parish events. Additional details about these fundraising opportunities will be shared and discussed throughout the year.
