Come deepen your longing for the Messiah’s coming as you encounter Jesus as Emmanuel, “God with us.”
This foundational and enlightening study, exploring the stories of the conception and birth of Jesus in the gospels of Matthew and Luke, helps participants understand the Old Testament background of these texts, and their distinct themes, events, and continuing relevance for us today. Included in our study is a workbook (with commentary, study, and reflection questions), in-person small group discussion, group viewing of a short accompanying teaching by author, and theologian, Stephen J. Binz, and individual online access for future viewing.
Stephen Binz, an award-winning author and pilgrimage guide, studied Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and Jerusalem and has developed dozens of books and programs in biblical theology and spirituality. More information on Binz’s work may be found at Bridge-B.com.
