CHRISTMAS IN THE FALL starts this weekend. Click here for more information.
PET BLESSING: Our pets are a blessing to us, so let’s take some time to bless them! Saint Francis of Assisi is the Patron Saint of Animals, so in honor of his Feast Day, we invite you to bring your pets for a special blessing on Tuesday, October 4th at 6:00 pm. We will gather outside right in front of the church entrance. Pets need to be safely leashed/contained.
BLOOD DRIVE: Please mark your calendars for the next Blood Drive that we are hosting—Sunday, November 13th, 2022. Click here to download the flyer.
SHARE A LITTLE SUGAR: We are now accepting candy donations for our annual TRUNK OR TREAT! There will be a table at all Masses on the weekend and candy can also be dropped off during the week at both offices! Bags of wrapped candy are preferred. As always, your support and generosity are greatly appreciated! More information on Trunk or Treat (October 31st) coming soon!
RCIA SPONSOR TRAINING: Those journeying through the sacrament of initiation, like the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), are on a journey that allows interested individuals an opportunity to examine the Christian faith in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The people on this wonderful faith journey need a partner, a fellow traveler, because sometimes the road is difficult, and it’s not always easy to see where it’s leading. They need a companion, a guide, and a friend who knows the way. On October 5th from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Community Center, the RCIA team will have a training session for those who are interested in sponsoring one of the candidates or catechumens that are going through the process. If you are interested in being a sponsor, please plan to attend this session. If you would like more information prior to the meeting, please contact Mary Thompson at [email protected].
ROSARY RALLY: The Legion of Mary and the Knights of Columbus would like to invite you to join them in faith and prayer at a public Rosary Rally on Saturday, October 8th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the front south corner of the church. This will be one of many rallies taking place across the United States. As the world around us experiences so many challenges, it is our intention to turn to God and Our Holy Mother to save our country from today’s chaos, immorality, and social upheaval. Let us come with these intentions in our hearts and true faith that our prayers will be answered through the beauty and power of praying the Rosary together. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Legion of Mary Coordinator; Linda Dayawon, or our Grand Knight; Tom Melton.
PRAY WITH US: On October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, the Knights of Columbus and the Legion of Mary will be praying the rosary outside in front of the Blessed Mother Statue. Everyone is invited!
