The Religious Education Program has several options of programs
to choose from for Kindergarten through Confirmation. 4th Grade
Students who did not attend religious
education classes last year and have not received the Sacraments of
Reconciliation and First Communion.
Students who attended
religious education classes for the first time last year and are
entering their second year of preparation for the Sacraments of
Reconciliation and First Communion.
Option 1: Classes held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays,
or Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
(choose one day) beginning September 15, 2008 and ending
April 30, 2009.
Option 2: Early morning classes held on Thursdays from
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. beginning September 18, 2008 and ending
April 30, 2009. Option 3: Home Catechesis Parents and students attend monthly at the Community Center on the first Thursday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m., beginning in September. Children attend a grade level class and work on the material that was presented by their parent at home. Parents attend a parent session and receive catechesis on the next chapters they will be discussing with their children (this is a very important part of the program.) This program begins on September 4, 2008.
Parents of students who are unbaptized must make an appointment with Juliann Dwyer.
When selecting a time, day, or program please take into
consideration your family commitments as well as any sports
schedules. Early registration is strongly advised since classes
fill up quickly.
