The Young Disciples are LIFE TEEN's teen leadership group. They are a group of juniors and seniors who have been confirmed. These teens are asked to write a letter telling the Directors and YD Coordinators WHY they believe they are being called and chosen to this group and WHAT they feel they can bring to the group. After their letters have been accepted, they are required to to participate in a weekend discernment retreat. After the retreat, if they still feel they are being called and chosen for this group, they are invited to commit themselves to serving this community.

Young Disciples meet every other week on Sunday afternoons. They are encouraged to attend the LIFE TEEN mass, LIFE Nights and retreats. Being in the group, they are invited to become involved in the planning of LIFE Nights, Retreats, Service Projects and other Prayer or Social Activities. They are also encouraged to participate in skits, small groups and testimonies.

Being apart of this group is a great way to earn leadership credibility in the church, at school and even for future colleges. The group is led by two LIFE TEEN Core Members and overseen by the Directors of LIFE TEEN.

May 19-  Life Teen is making sandwiches for the homeless at 5:30 p.m.
