Immediately following the Life Teen Mass, teens gather for a Life Night to learn about the Catholic Church and explore their faith in concrete ways. Life Nights appeal to teens because they are creative, eventful and bring our Catholic faith to life in practical ways. It is through Bible Studies, discussions, and personal experiences that Life Teen is able to educate teens about the Catholic Church and their faith. Life Nights are truly experimental for teens. Each Life Night, whether it is an educational, social or "issue" night, teens find themselves engaged in prayer and entering into community. For example, rather than simply hearing and learning about Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, teens can experience the true power of the Eucharist through this form of worship. Teens can also experience the call of obedience to the Catholic Church. Challenges are directed to teens, asking them to leave behind harmful habits or destructive social behaviors and motivating them to truly live out their Catholic/Christian faith. It is through these weekly gatherings, experiences and community-building that you will observe teens building the body of Christ through their friendships and relationships, holding each other accountable to be joyful, healthy young adults.

LIFE NIGHT PLANNING Life Night Topics are chosen by the Directors of Life Teen. They also go through the topics with the Director Religious Education to make sure the topics fit the needed criteria for Confirmation. Once the topics are set, the Directors match them with dates so the semester flows. At that point, the topics and outline suggestions are given to planning teams made up of core members. These planning teams come together and plan the details for the nights. The teams submit their ideas and outlines to the Directors which then go through an approval process. Each Life Night is structured using a proven and successful "Gather, Proclaim, Break, Send" format. Just as the Mass has this liturgical flow, Life Nights do the same.
