A VISION STATEMENT FOR STM CATHOLIC COMMUNITY
We, the faithful of St. Thomas More, aspire to be a
community that:
- Welcomes, includes and incorporates the diversity of
its members into a harmony and unity that is
authentically catholic.
- Encourages and fosters continuing education,
formation and enrichment in faith for all.
- Recognizes our evangelizing mission to the world as
people who give witness and who share the good news of
our faith.
- Involves all of its members actively in faith-based
relationships with other members, forming a community of
communities.
- Invites, nurtures, and enables the spiritual gifts of
all the baptized, lay and ordained, in the service of
both this community and the world.
- Heightens the awareness of each individual’s call to
steward the works of God in one’s own time and
situation—including the mission which Jesus passed on
