St. Thomas More has officially kicked-off a year-long celebration of our 25th
anniversary. A video that reflects on the past twenty-five years
that we have been together as a faith community was shown at all Masses
on August 20-21. This marked
the start of the first of many activities that will take place
throughout the next twelve months. Click on the links below to learn

The next twelve months are very
important in reflecting on the formation of St. Thomas More Catholic
Community 25 years ago, and for recalling the many ways our lives
have been touched by Jesus Christ through our parish. We hope you
will be part of this celebration.

Directory
Have you ever wanted to put a name with a face, or
a face with a name? For the first time in its 25 year history, St.
Thomas More has produced a photo directory of parish members!
Olan Mills Studios provided the photography
sittings. They have worked with countless church
communities to produce beautiful directories. Each person that sat
for a portrait, will receive a
copy of the STM directory at no cost.
The photo sessions took place in fall of 2011
and it will be coming out this spring.
Parish Picnic
In October, the Picnic had a Homecoming
theme since we welcomed home as many as the original
parishioners as we could find. The picnic was Sunday, October 2nd at
Mission Hills Park in Henderson.
Ornament
A commemorative
25th Anniversary Christmas Tree ornament was sold at all masses and
in the gift shop in November & December of 2011.
Valentines
Dinner Dance
The date was Saturday, February 11th, 2012 and
it was held in Anthem.
Pentecost
In May, on the Feast of Pentecost, we will be
inviting present & former parishioners who completed the RCIA
program & entered the Catholic Church at STM to celebrate with us
that day.
Prayer Garden
By the end of this anniversary year, we will
be unveiling a special prayer garden which is now being designed for
the area near the chapel.

5171 Baptisms - an average of 201 per year
2,696 Confirmations- an average of 108 per
year
5,166 First Communions- an average of 206 per
year
797 Marriages- an average of 32 per year
1300 Funerals- an average of 52 per year
402 Adult RCIA- an average of 16 per year
