Education & Faith Formation
Adult Faith Formation
Learning doesn’t stop at a particular age or event in our lives
– it is an ongoing process. As adult Catholics, we have an
obligation to grow and mature in our faith journey. St. Thomas More
offers several opportunities each year for adults to come together
and learn more about the faith that we profess.
Religious
Education

The Catechists, priests and members of St. Thomas More
Catholic Community, guided by the word and example of Jesus and
basic teachings of "The General Catechetical Directory,"
partner to evangelize and catechize our children into full
participation in the mission of their Baptism in Christ.

are required before receiving a sacrament. Preparation for these
sacraments takes place in the 2nd grade. Only those
children who attend the first grade religious education program will
be enrolled in a second grade sacrament class. Parents must attend
two workshops (one for each sacrament) which are all designed to
give parents a greater understanding of the history and theology
of the sacraments. They will also be advised of the curriculum
which is being used as well as the nuts and bolts of the
program.
Special Sacrament Class
Special Sacrament students are students that are in grades three and up
are in the second year of the preparation program for the first
communion and reconciliation. Parents must attend
two workshops (one for each sacrament) which are all designed to
give parents a greater understanding of the history and theology
of the sacraments. They will also be advised of the curriculum
which is being used as well as the nuts and bolts of the
program.
Religious Education classes are provided for students in
kindergarten through 10th grade (second year of
Confirmation preparation). Parents are REQUIRED to attend the Orientation & Registration meetings in
