| Baptism,
Eucharist and Confirmation together constitute the sacraments of
Christian initiation.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that, “Preparation
for Confirmation should aim at leading the Christian toward more
intimate union with Christ and a more lively familiarity with
the Holy Spirit – his actions, his gifts, and his bidding –
in order to be more capable of assuming the apostolic
responsibilities of Christian life.”
Adults who are baptized in the Catholic faith and who have
received first communion but were not confirmed are invited to
complete their initiation sacraments through our Adult
Confirmation process.
Classes begin in February. The
Sacrament of Confirmation is dependent upon the Bishop's
schedule, but normally takes place shortly after Easter.
