The Religious Education Program has several options of programs to choose from for Kindergarten through Confirmation.

Option 1: Classes held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
(choose one day) beginning September 18, 2006 and ending
April 26, 2007.

Option 2: Early morning classes held on Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. beginning September 21, 2006 and ending April 26, 2007.

Option 3: Home Catechesis Parents and students attend monthly at the Community Center on the first Thursday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m., beginning in September. Children attend a grade level class and work on the material that was presented by their parent at home. Parents attend a parent session and receive catechesis on the next chapters they will be discussing with their children (this is a very
important part of the program.) This program begins on September 7, 2006 and ends May 1, 2007.

Parents of students who are unbaptized must make an appointment with Juliann Dwyer.

Classes for 7th and 8th grade non-sacrament students:

Students who received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and
First Communion have the option of classes on Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. beginning September 20, 2006 and ending April 25, 2007. You also have the Option of Home Catechesis. (Note: More Youth involves a separate orientation and registration for new students entering the program. There is a deadline date.) Students who will be entering the first or second year preparation for the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, or First Communion, see the following paragraph.

6th—12th Grade 1st Year Students: Classes for students who have not attended religious education and have not received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist, have a choice of Wednesday from 4 to 5:00 p.m. or Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. beginning Sunday September 17, 2006 or September 20, 2006.

6th—8th Grade 2nd Year Students: Classes for students who attended classes last year and completed the first year preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion, have a choice of Wednesday from 4 to 5:00 p.m. or Sunday from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. beginning Sunday September 17, 2006 or September 20, 2006.

When selecting a time, day, or program please take into consideration your family commitments as well as any sports schedules. Early registration is strongly advised since classes fill up quickly.

Fees are due at the time of registration. If a financial situation prevents you from paying part or all of the tuition, please contact the Religious Education Office.
